Koh Samui with baby and toddler 🏝
We travelled to Koh Samui at the end of my maternity leave in June. We chose Koh Samui since we wanted to go to Thailand, and it was not rainy season there yet. However, I would say that it was still too hot for the baby and toddler even though it was partly cloudy most of the time and it rained every other day. Not for full day, but mostly late afternoon or early evening. Only one day it rained in the morning. We stayed there 3 weeks, so it was fine to have some cloudy days. Definitely worth visiting - overlap stone! I bought the plane tickets and booked the hotel around end of January. It was direct flight to Bangkok from Copenhagen and the short flight from Bangkok to Koh Samui. Plane tickets cost about 1000 euro per grown-up and the 3-year-old price was around the same. Ticket for baby was almost nth compared to that. Hotel with breakfast for 3 weeks was around 2000 euros and we used there for food, trips and some shopping around 1500 euro.
